Senior Data Analyst

Petaling Jaya, Selangor


  • To lead insightful data analytics support that are aligned with Consumer and Market Insights’ objectives and internal stakeholders’ business KPIs
  • Provide decision-support services for Marketing.
  • Participates in database research tasks to extract pertinent information, lists and results from the data warehouse and other information resources.
  • Identifies extensions and improvements to the existing data mining and reporting
  • Provides project leadership for complex analytical tasks associated with strategic initiatives.
  • To deliver timely reports based on a monthly/yearly tracking to Management and Marketing Divison.
  • To support and provide analysis via data mining and compilation, and ensure integrity and accuracy of data to aid effective decision-making
  • To be pro-active in providing consultation to other business units on data dashboards and data extraction from Global Data Warehouse
  • To constantly identify and innovate better ways to measure and report transactional data (i.e predictive analysis, new data modelling) and ensure report is highly utilized by the business units.
  • To develop and implement effective pre and post measurement using transactional data that will determine the success KPIs of a project/programme.
  • To be the leading Analyst and Guardian of Global Data Warehouse reports and ensure that reports are synergized across the departments and prevent duplication and mismanagement of data.
  • To be the coach of data analytic skills – Assist organization in developing analytical skills, provide technical leadership to research projects, review and verify the accuracy of the results produced by other team members
  • To support and assist in other CMI functions ie: Qualitative and Quantitative Market Research and desk research


  • Basic university degree (esp in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Admin, etc)
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Have an interest in Amway Sales and Marketing plan, though experience is not necessary
  • At least 3-5 years experience with Data Mining and CRM Analytics
  • Character: Self-motivated, upholds integrity and not afraid to challenge viewpoints/belief. Able to view things from a bigger picture without compromising the smaller details/meticulous, Persuasive. Good communication and pleasant personality.
  • Microsoft Office: Powerpoint, Excel, Word.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytic Tools such as Oracle, SAS is a valuable advantage


Salary range: RM 3,000.00 - RM 4,800.00
